“We had a great stay. Everything we needed was there. Great communication with the host. It couldn’t have been better.”Martin, Airbnb, September 2016

“We needed a place on very short notice and this place was perfect! It fit 8 of us with plenty to entertain and areas to hang out. It was a very nice touch to have muffins and juice we could enjoy. Everything was labeled so you didn’t have to search for kitchen or bathroom items. The only drawback was the lower level shower had low water pressure. Loved all the books!” Jennifer, Homeaway, August 2016

“The house was warm, everything was labeled and stocked (towels, etc). Grocery store was right next door and the [Mormon] temple is 5 minutes away, too. I would totally stay here again.” – Lidia, Airbnb, November 2016

“Skyler was always super fast responding to our questions. We knew that if we had any problems, he would be available to help us right away. He made sure we had his contact information, but did not disturb us at all during our stay. We really appreciated the special treats that were left for us, and we felt very welcome and safe while staying in this home.”Lindsay, Airbnb, October 2016

“This is our second year and it’s the perfect house for large groups. We love the big dining room table where we could all gather to eat or just talk. The host makes sure all your needs are met and leaves you a big bowl of fruit! Love that! We are already booked for next year! Thanks ” – Cathi, Airbnb, September 2017
“Skyler’s house was a home away from home. It was very clean and well maintained. Instructions and directions were on point and we had a very pleasant stay. Skyler was extremely approachable and responsive. We would love to stay in Skyler’s house next time we visit SLC.” – Kuldeep, Airbnb, September 2017

“If you want to know how to host an Airbnb, just ask Skyler! From labels on drawers, doors and light switches, to all the little extra ‘unexpecteds,’ our stay could not have been more enjoyable. I am glad we needed a two bathroom near downtown, because it led us to this wonderful home. There wasn’t one thing we could add to Skyler’s suggestion box. Thank you for providing great comfort and value to our trip!” – Allan, Airbnb, May 2017

“Family of seven here! Having beds for 5 kids is unheard of! Sleep is what we needed and this was perfect for us. Master bed was just right and I slept as good as home. Host family was wonderful to work with and kind to leave us a few goodies. The price point is right on. Thank you for a wonderful stay!” – Angela, VRBO, June 2017

“Great, clean house close to downtown SLC. Perfect for our group of nine.” – Natalie, Airbnb, May 2017

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! From the coffee and breakfast, to the kitchen that had all the essentials for preparing meals, to the abundance of hot water for the showering needs of 2 families, to the ample towels, wash rags, blankets, and pillows, to the Wii that the kids played and played and played, to even having a parking spot in the garage for my car that doesn’t keep water out very well. This is a home away from home. We liked how close it was to downtown, the ability to access interstates and highways for quick travel down to a Real Salt Lake game, and the quiet neighborhood with no fear of issues. The owner is easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and helpful with information and tips. If we are traveling to Salt Lake again, we would definitely stay here again and rent from this owner. It was a great experience, a good time, and a fantastic stay!” – Landry, HomeAway, April 2017
“Very nice landlord! Very nice house, very clean!” – Yi, Airbnb, July 2017

“Hard to imagine an airbnb that is executed better than this. Skyler was very prompt and clear in his communications. We also appreciated the well-stocked towels and ubiquitous labeling. Also good: garage parking, breakfast provided, fast internet, and a king-sized bed! Great stay for our family.” – Nathan, Airbnb, July 2017

“I have stayed in many airbnb in last 2 years but it was first time I had so much fun staying in an airbnb. I love everything about this property i.e., location (very near to airport), space, bunk beds et al and its not only me, all of my friends (we were total 9) loved this property. The property has lot for entertainment, Bluetooth speakers, musical keyboard, lots and lots of board games. I stayed there for two days en route to Yellowstone national park. Skyler is an amazing host and ensured that we had whale of a time during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property if you plan to stay in salt lake city even for a night.”Ayushi, Airbnb, September 2016

“Hospitable host prepared lots of food for our breakfast. There’re many board games. Self-check-in is very convenient. The environment is quiet enough for a great sleep.” – Zhenhao, Airbnb, August 2017

“Our group of 8 had a fabulous stay in Salt Lake and it was largely due to our stay at Collinshire. When traveling beds can make it or break it so we were thrilled to find each and every bed extremely comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with every tool necessary and we were excited to find a very high quality blender for our green smoothies each morning. Skyler was an awesome host and provided the refrigerator with goodies for the morning. We loved the large dining table to gather for meals. It was about 10 minutes to the airport as well as downtown Salt Lake so getting around using Uber was fast and inexpensive. When returning to Salt Lake, Collinshire will be our first choice!”Cathi, Airbnb, September 2016

The location was great, close to the airport and convenient for people flying in/out at different times. Skyler was a great host, always responded to inquiries right away. I would definitely recommend this property for families or big groups. Thank you Skyler!” – Tyler, Airbnb, February 2017

“It’s a really nice place. The host offered fruits and muffins. Host is a really nice and warm-hearted person.” – Yankuan, Airbnb, August 2017

“We had 10 women and girls. There was plenty of room. The king size bed was very comfortable, the others seemed mostly set up for children, but we managed just fine with them. The distance to both the airport and downtown was really nice. We bought groceries at Smith’s. Costco and Target were not far. We were glad for the garage because it did rain a lot of our stay. We played games from the great selection provided.” – Stephanie, HomeAway, September 2017

“Beautiful home. Easy access to everywhere around town.” – Ivan, Airbnb, September 2017

“We had a convention in SLC and needed a place for 10 of us to stay. We all slept very comfortable. The homeowners were excellent to work with and were so kind by leaving muffins, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe. I highly recommend staying here. There is nothing fancy about this house but it is definitely clean and nice!” – LoriAnn, HomeAway, September 2017

“The house is clean, the homeowner is warm, timely communication, suitable for family living.” – Ping, Airbnb, October 2017

“The owners are amazing to work with! The communication was great, everything is labeled so it is easy to find what you need. There was also plenty of space and places to sleep, which is all we really needed it for. We were there for a wedding and had up to 9 people staying there and everyone was comfortable. We would have liked more counter space for getting ready in the bathrooms and upgrade the shower surround, but all in all, a great stay! I loved the nearby trail along the river for our morning exercise and there was plenty of parking. I would definitely stay again!” – Nancy, HomeAway, October 2017

“Easy to find home in a quiet neighborhood. The location is great! We were in downtown SLC in 10 minutes from here. Skyler is easy to get a hold of with any questions, and it is easy to find whatever you need in the house.” – Cameron, Airbnb, October 2017

“There is an old saying that ‘you can’t turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse.’ Well, Skyler and his wife have just about accomplished that. The home was obviously built in the late 40’s or early 50’s with an addition connecting the house with the separate garage. This created a large living space which is perfect for indoor play activities when it is too cold to play outside. It got down to 15 degrees but the heater worked like a charm and kept the whole house warm. With beautiful wood floors on the original first story the home oozes with old-fashioned nostalgia. When I went downstairs, I was pleased to see a bunk bed. It reminded me of the fun times my cousins and I had when Grandma would host ‘overnighters’ and we would sleep in a downstairs room in bunk-beds. This home, most likely not a romantic getaway or honeymoon. It will never be a Taj Mahal or 5-star resort. It is and always will be a Quaint Grandmas House perfect for making memories. With lots of beds, lots of toys, closets full of games for girls and boys, it is a memory making machine. We loved the quiet neighborhood and our 18 month old granddaughter had a simply marvelous time discovering all the age-appropriate toys in the various rooms. Skyler was very communicative and was very concerned about our privacy and comfort. When we feel like we want to have a ‘medium sized’ family reunion, we will definitely look first at Collinshire.” – Blaine and Karen, Airbnb, January 2017.
